We built the Croatian RaceChip webshop on Spree and PostgreSQL. It is a separate ecommerce project from the RaceChip.com backend application.
RaceChip.hr is a webshop for the Croatian tuning market. We built it on Spree, with storefront flows adapted to the local market.
It is separate from the RaceChip.com application described elsewhere on this site. That project is a backend data system; this one is a storefront with its own codebase.
Buyers need to know which tuning product fits their car before they can buy it. The brief called for a localized storefront where they could find compatible products and complete a purchase clearly, in the local language and with familiar buying flows.
Spree provided the Rails ecommerce foundation: a catalog, cart and order model already used in production. We used that foundation for the RaceChip.hr webshop rather than building those parts from scratch.
Ruby on Rails with Spree, backed by PostgreSQL. The codebase stays separate from the RaceChip.com application work.
Movieo is our in-house side project. It ranks more than 250,000 films using a combined IMDb, Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic score, and serves roughly 100,000 monthly visitors with no marketing spend.
